WHO WE ARE
CodeSpirit Productions is an award-winning limited film production company that has produced high-quality marketing and short film content productions, screened at BAFTA qualifying film festivals, and distributed on platforms such as Amazon Prime.​​The company itself is a family business, consisting of a father and daughter duo.
When not making narrative films, CodeSpirit is a flexible company that can transition into promotional and corporate video easily due to James’ experience in the advertising and commercials sector as a commercials director and concept artist. Between the two of us, we share 35 years of industry experience, as well as Laura obtaining a Masters degree in film production.
MEET THE TEAM
Laura is an award-winning short film producer and director, who has her own limited film production company, CodeSpirit Productions. She has been part of production teams on films backed by Creative England, BBC Films and BFI. She has line produced feature films, and was recently nominated by the National Film Awards for her producing work on recent werewolf horror Wolf Garden.

She has had her own short films screened at BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying film festivals, and her work has been distributed via streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime, Omeleto and Dust.
James began his career as a commercial artist, then storyboard artist and concept artist, before picking up a camera to make and direct commercials.
After this, he studied writing at the HRC in the UK, and started producing his own short films, which were shown at festivals such as Leeds Film Festival and Winchester Film Festival. James has written award winning short films for Laura's production company, which have been chosen at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying film festivals, and written feature films which have all been given 'recommended' script reports from top private finance companies.
